Catana

Catana "Indy" is a lovely and sweet 2018 bay mare that is exceptionally well balanced and athletic.  She received premium foal at her Westfalen NA inspection with a score of 8.2 and was site champion filly. Indy is barefoot and sound with no maintenance. She currently stands 15.3hh.

Indy was lightly started under saddle walk, trot, and canter before taking some time off to be a mom.  She is now back to work and coming along very well. She has started lead changes and small jumps. Indy is very quiet and more of a kick ride.  She could easily be brought along by a junior or amateur. Due to her smaller size and exception temperament, Indy will make a fantastic kids horse once finished.

Her sire, Coronet D’Honneur, is a 2010, 16.3, RPSI approved Bavarian Warmblood stallion. He’s by Comme il faut (Coronet Obolensky x St.Pr.St. Ratina Z,) out of Dorina (Dinard x St.Pr.St. Paola/Pilot.) He completed his 70 Day Test at Marbach, Germany in the Fall of 2014 with exceptional comments, and 9’s in all the Jumping and Temperament scores.  Catana's dam, Alinda DG (Contester x Zeoliet), is a 2005 Dutch Warmblood.  Her dam line brings outstanding jumping ability from the likes of Contender and Ramiro Z.
