Catana, know around the barn as "Indy", is a lovely and sweet 2018 Westfalen bay mare. She is exceptionally well balanced and athletic with a fantastic temperment.  Indy is barefoot and sound with no maintenance. She currently stands 15.3hh.

Indy has been handled daily from birth and is easy to handle.  She has a sweet and loving personality which makes her a pleasure to have around the barn.   Indy was lightly started under saddle walk, trot, and canter before taking some time off to be a mom.  She is now back to work and coming along very well. She has her lead changes and is doing small courses. Indy is very quiet and more of a kick ride.  She could easily be brought along by a junior or amateur. Due to her smaller size and exceptional temperament, Indy will make a fantastic kids horse once finished. 

Catana is an approved mare with Westfalen in Mare Book I.  Catana received premium foal honors at her Westfalen NA inspection with a score of 8.2 and was site champion filly. The inspector said she is elegant and correct, and that her movement is uphill with good elasticity and swing. Her sire, Coronet D’Honneur, is a 2010, 16.3, RPSI approved Bavarian Warmblood stallion. He’s by Comme il faut (Coronet Obolensky x St.Pr.St. Ratina Z,) out of Dorina (Dinard x St.Pr.St. Paola/Pilot.) He completed his 70 Day Test at Marbach, Germany in the Fall of 2014 with exceptional comments, and 9’s in all the Jumping and Temperament scores.  Catana's dam, Alinda DG (Contester x Zeoliet), is a 2005 Dutch Warmblood.  Her dam line brings outstanding jumping ability from the likes of Contender and Ramiro Z.
